ABOUT AOW

From the inspirations of Jim Duke, the Atlantic Open Wheel racing series was introduced competitively in 2003. this exciting, competitive and affordable series travels to various tracks and events throughout Eastern Canada.

THE AOW CAR

The AOW car was designed by Burnham Custom Fabrication in Upper Coverdale, NB and fashioned off of the I.M.C.A. modified and Winston Ope n Wheel modified cars.
Our cars have full size Chevrolet frames and suspension components and the chassis is a roll cage design of mandatory specifications. The engine must be a 305cu inch Chev motor, the body has to conform to a specific configuration style and the tires must be used racing tires.
